PRICING

One closed job pays for the year.

Knack Team is $149 per seat a month, billed yearly, with a three-seat minimum and the owner's console included at no extra seat. There are no minute caps on any plan, deliberately: a rep who is counting minutes stops recording the small visits, and the small visits are where the pattern lives.

SOLO · ONE SEAT

Working on your own? $49 a month gets you capture, recaps with verify-to-audio, a searchable memory of your own meetings, and Markdown plus Google Drive export. No routing, no CRM, no console.

How much does Knack cost?

Knack Team is $149 per seat a month, billed yearly, with a three-seat minimum and the owner's admin seat included free. Month-to-month is $179 per seat. Knack Solo, for a single person, is $49 a month. Larger and multi-location businesses are quoted directly.

Why is the owner's seat free?

Because charging for it is a penalty for being the buyer. A four-rep shop paying for five seats is paying $149 to look at its own data. One admin seat is included free with three or more rep seats, so the console costs nothing extra to the person who actually reads it.

Do you charge per recorded minute?

No, on any plan. Per-minute pricing is common in this category and it quietly changes rep behavior: a rep who is counting minutes stops recording the small visits, and the small visits are where the pattern lives. Plans carry a generous fair-use ceiling instead, set where no honest user reaches it.

What is the difference between Solo and Team?

Solo remembers. Team acts and measures. Solo gives one person capture, transcription, recaps with verify-to-audio, a searchable memory of their own meetings, and Markdown plus Google Drive export. Team adds everything that makes the work leave the app: the follow-up email sent from your own address, CRM sync, shared team visibility, and the owner console where close rate by lead source lives.

Can a team just buy several Solo seats instead?

No, Solo is limited to a single seat. It exists for one person working alone. The moment there is a crew, the things that matter are the routing, the shared memory, and the console, and none of those work one desk at a time.

What happens when a rep leaves?

You reassign the seat. Seats belong to the business, not to a named person, because rep churn in the trades is constant and a seat you cannot move is a seat you are throwing away.

Is integration setup included?

Yes, with an annual Team plan. We connect Knack to what you already run as part of onboarding, whether that is Housecall Pro, HubSpot, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Salesforce or something built in-house, and it is working before you go live. Genuinely unusual work, such as a system with no documented API, is quoted separately and we tell you that on the call rather than afterwards.

Is there a free trial?

Your first five meetings are free, so you can hear what a real appointment turns into before paying. We also onboard teams directly rather than leaving a timed trial to run out: the first week decides whether it sticks, and that means the consent script, the CRM connection, and the lead sources you want tracked all set up properly.

Why is Knack billed on the web rather than in the App Store?

Team plans are sold and billed on the web. It keeps pricing predictable for multi-seat accounts and keeps the app-store fee from being priced into every seat.

What happens to my recordings if I cancel?

You export everything. Recaps and transcripts export as Markdown and sync to your own Google Drive, so your meeting record lives somewhere you control rather than only inside Knack.
