COMPARE

Every comparison, in one place.

Almost every tool on this page is good at what it was built for, which is the meeting that happens through a screen. Knack. is built for the one that happens in a room: a kitchen table, an attic, a showroom floor. That is the difference every page below is really about, and each one names the case for choosing the other product.

The one distinction that sorts this whole category

Almost every tool in this space was designed around a meeting that has a join link. That single assumption decides everything downstream. If there is a call, a bot can attend it, audio arrives clean and separated by speaker, and the transcript is the hard part. Gong, Fireflies, Fathom and Avoma are all excellent at that job, and if your revenue happens on video calls you should buy one of them rather than us.

An in-person meeting breaks all three assumptions at once. There is nothing to join, so capture has to be something a person does deliberately. The audio is one room with overlapping voices, background noise and no channel separation, which is a materially harder engineering problem. And the transcript stops being the hard part, because the rep was already there and already knows what was said. What actually fails after an in-person meeting is everything that comes next: the follow-up nobody sent, the CRM field nobody filled in, and the fact that no owner can say which lead source produced the deals that closed.

That is the axis the pages below are really sorted along. The head-to-head comparisons are mostly against tools built for the call, and each one names the case for buying the other product, because for a lot of teams the other product is the right answer. The alternative pages are for replacing something specific that is not fitting. The guides are for people still working out which kind of tool this even is.

One warning about the pricing on these pages, since it is the number everyone scans for. Every competitor price is read off that vendor's own pricing page and stamped with the month it was checked. Compare the caps as carefully as the headline price: most plans in this category are metered in minutes, and an in-home estimate that runs ninety minutes will exhaust a mid-tier plan far faster than the marketing maths suggests.

HEAD TO HEAD

Knack vs the notetaker you already know

These are the tools people put next to us in a spreadsheet. Each page says plainly what the other product does better, because a comparison that never concedes anything is not worth reading.

ALTERNATIVES

Looking to replace something specific

You already have a tool and it is not fitting. These pages start from what is not working rather than from our feature list.

GUIDES

Choosing a category, not a product

Broader questions, answered without assuming the answer is us. Useful if you are still working out what kind of tool this even is.
